At the University of Northampton you will study cognitive, biological, developmental, social, and individual differences approaches to psychology alongside research methods and statistics. The clinical applications strand gives you sustained engagement with topics such as psychopathology, models of mental health and illness, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and the structure of mental health services in the UK. You will develop the analytical and empirical skills that are central to psychology as a science, alongside a deeper understanding of how that science informs clinical practice.
