At Stirling, this four-year full-time programme develops your skills across the full software engineering lifecycle, covering software design and architecture, programming, testing and quality assurance, security, project management, and the collaborative methods used in professional development teams. You will gain practical experience building software systems of increasing complexity, developing the habits of rigorous engineering alongside the technical skills the field demands. A year abroad is built into the programme, broadening your academic and professional perspective and providing the opportunity to study software engineering in a different institutional and cultural context.
