Sport and Exercise Science

London South Bank University's four-year full-time Sport and Exercise Science with Foundation Year degree offers an alternative route into the undergraduate programme for students who may not initially meet the standard entry requirements. Following the foundation year, you will study the scientific bases of sport and exercise performance, including human physiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, sport psychology, and research methods, developing both laboratory skills and the analytical abilities that graduates in this field need.
Sport and exercise science graduates work in sports coaching and performance support, strength and conditioning, exercise referral and clinical exercise physiology, sport science support with professional sports clubs, health and fitness management, sports development, and research.
