At the University of Chester this three-year full-time programme develops your skills as a journalist through sport, giving you the practical training in writing, broadcasting, digital publishing, and media law that professional journalism requires, alongside a grounding in the sports industry, sporting culture, and the ethics of sports coverage. You will practise reporting, interviewing, and news writing across print, broadcast, and online formats, developing the versatility that is essential in the modern media landscape.

The programme includes a year abroad, which places you in a different sports and media culture and extends your understanding of how sport is covered and consumed in different contexts.
