About this course

This course is ideal if you want to work in ecology and conservation and need practical skills that employers recognise. You’ll build a strong foundation in ecological theory survey techniques statistics and scientific report writing before specialising in UK or global conservation themes. Field-based learning is central and you’ll develop confidence collecting data and monitoring wildlife in natural habitats.

You’ll also gain experience using GIS and can progress into optional protected species and restoration areas as you shape your pathway.
