About Swansea University

Swansea University is a research led institution on the south Wales coast, founded in the early twentieth century and now spread across the seafront Singleton Park campus and the newer Bay Campus. Its character is shaped by its striking coastal setting and a strong sense of community.

The university is well established in engineering, science, medicine, law and the humanities, and is a member of neither the Russell Group nor any ancient grouping but holds a solid research reputation in Wales.
