About University of Suffolk

The University of Suffolk is a young modern university that gained independent university status in 2016, having previously operated as University Campus Suffolk in partnership with the universities of East Anglia and Essex. It is based at the Waterfront Building on Ipswich Waterfront, a regenerated dockside area in the county town of Suffolk.

The university has developed provision in nursing and allied health professions, business, computing, education, criminology, and social work, with a clear focus on meeting the skills needs of the East of England region. Its close relationships with NHS Suffolk and North East Essex and other regional employers underpin the professional relevance of its programmes. The Waterfront Campus continues to expand its facilities.
