Is this the only route?

University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Anaesthetist
As a Junior Anaesthetist, you will assist in the administration of anaesthesia under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in the operating theatre.
Mid-level Anaesthetist
In this role, you will independently manage anaesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, working closely with surgical teams and mentoring junior staff.
Consultant Anaesthetist
As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will lead anaesthetic services, develop protocols, and contribute to teaching and research within the field.
