Career Progression Path
Is this the only route?
This is the standard academic trajectory, but modern careers are highly flexible. You can often skip stages by entering the industry with an advanced qualification (like a Master's or PhD), or pivot sideways from a related discipline.
University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Conveyancing Assistant
In this entry-level role, you will support senior conveyancers by handling administrative tasks and learning the basics of property law.
Mid-Level Conveyancing Assistant
At this stage, you will take on more responsibility, managing your own cases and liaising directly with clients and other stakeholders.
Senior Conveyancing Assistant
In a senior role, you will oversee junior staff, manage complex transactions, and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
