Career Progression Path
Is this the only route?
This is the standard trajectory, but modern careers are highly flexible. You can often skip stages by entering the industry with an advanced qualification (like a Master's or PhD), or pivot sideways from a related discipline.

Senior Education Policy Analyst
At this level, you will oversee major policy projects, mentor junior analysts, and represent your organisation in high-level discussions with government and educational leaders.
Apprenticeships & Direct Entry
You can often bypass traditional university degrees by earning while you learn. The UK government heavily funds Degree-level and Advanced level Apprenticeships for education policy analysts.
