Junior Nuclear Engineer

Mid-level Nuclear Engineer
As a mid-level engineer, you will take on more complex projects, lead small teams, and be responsible for ensuring that designs meet safety and regulatory standards. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to research initiatives.
Senior Nuclear Engineer/Head of Engineering
At this peak career stage, you will oversee large projects, manage engineering teams, and be responsible for strategic decision-making. Your expertise will guide the development of innovative nuclear technologies and ensure compliance with national and international regulations.
Apprenticeships & Direct Entry
You can often bypass traditional university degrees by earning while you learn. The UK government heavily funds Degree-level and Advanced level Apprenticeships for nuclear engineers.
