The Role & Expectations
As a plastic fabricator, you will be responsible for transforming raw plastic materials into finished products through various processes such as moulding, cutting, and assembling. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the properties of different plastics, as you will often work with complex machinery and tools to create high-quality components that meet strict specifications. You will collaborate closely with engineers and designers to ensure that the products not only meet functional requirements but also adhere to aesthetic standards.
Daily Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machinery for plastic moulding and fabrication.
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with design teams to understand product requirements.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of materials used.
