Electrical and electronic engineering is fundamental to many of today’s transformative technologies. From renewable energies to autonomous cars, and robotics to wireless communications, electrical and electronic engineering underpins all facets of our daily lives. Your teaching will be informed by our research in areas such as: You’ll get hands-on experience in our Future Technologies Labs and specialist facilities, using industry-standard equipment. This could see you building robots, programming embedded systems and digital signal processors, or using modelling suites. You’ll also use our electronics and control engineering laboratories, and electrical drive systems, and could be part of one of the Formula Student or Medical Robotic teams.
