Throughout our Bsc Software Engineering course (Hons), you will learn far more than how to code. From the beginning of your studies, you will learn how to start building software, experiment with new technologies, and develop the skills that employers value most in modern industries. You will learn how to design and deliver innovative solutions to real‑world problems, while exploring high‑demand areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, data science, software engineering, and mobile app development. Our programme is shaped by industry input and delivered by experts working at the forefront of their fields. Your lecturers include BAFTA‑nominated game developers, leading cyber security specialists, and researchers collaborating with organisations such as Airbus, Microsoft, HSBC, and Siemens. Throughout the course you will learn in state‑of‑the‑art laboratories, work alongside your peers on practical projects, and present your work to industry partners at our annual Project Fair.
