MEng Structural Engineering with Architecture
About this course
You will build on fundamental concepts of structural engineering and combine them with your knowledge of the architectural process to design, analyse, construct, and maintain all major forms of structures. Civil engineers solve complex problems and are skilled at working in interdisciplinary teams to tackle society's challenges. Architects are visionaries who conceive and plan our constructed world. Structural engineering and architecture combine to shape the built environment that surrounds us. This interdisciplinary programme is taught jointly with the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA), which is part of the Edinburgh College of Art.
