Design and global sustainable development is an interdisciplinary degree that applies design thinking and practice to the critical challenges facing the world today, from climate change and environmental degradation to human rights, poverty and the uneven distribution of digital technologies. Design, in this context, is not primarily about aesthetics but about problem-solving: the process of understanding complex systems, identifying leverage points and developing practical interventions that create better outcomes for people and the planet.
