Veterinary bioscience is the scientific foundation on which animal health and medicine is built. It is concerned with the biology of animals at the cellular, physiological and systemic levels, the mechanisms of disease, the immune response, and the scientific principles that underpin how diseases are prevented, controlled and treated.
